Probably 8 of the last 11 years I've owned my kayak I've been using this cover. Overall fitment is fantastic, it's super easy to use and protects the boat perfectly. There isn't a better kayak cover out there from what I've seen. The only reason that I can't give this cover 5 stars is the cover material just doesn't stand up to the sun long-term. I've gone through at least 4 of the covers now, and 3 years is about the longest I've got out of it before it gets a couple good tears in it and it's time to replace. On the other hand, I've presonally used boat covers on other small boats made with 'Sunbrella' / similar canvas-type material, it will easily last 10 or more years and still be in better shape than the material used on this cover after 2 years in the weather. Sunbrella also can be patched up easily after even a few seasons of use, whereas the material used on this cover just doesn't patch well (I've tried many times), it just tears more holes in it in the process. Granted, $250-ish for a cover that lasts even 3 years, amortized is quite affordable, if this cover were offered with a sunbrella material instead, I'd be the first one in line to get one, even if the cost were to be higher. Please, Danuu, please consider offering this cover in a sunbrella / or similar boat canvas option.... I'd like the next one of these I buy to last far longer.

An excellent product, highly recommend for storing any large kayak outside long term. I have used these covers for my boat for the past 10 years, and my only disappointment has been the cover only survives 3-4 seasons. It would be amazing if the same cover were offered in a Sunbrella-type canvas or similar material, even though that would be a bit more expensive, it would survive significantly longer before deteriorating from UV damage. Otherwise an amazing product, again highly recommended

The Danuu Kahuna cover is exactly what I was looking for to protect my vintage Necky Looksha II, for the times I need to store it outdoors. The kayak is 20' long, and it has a rudder, so I was concerned that the cover might not be long enough, but it's a perfect fit. It seems sturdy and well constructed, and even after being out in two driving rain storms this week, very little water got in. The kayak is usually garage kept, but thanks to the Kahuna cover, I'm able to leave it accessible and still protected from the elements. I'm very happy with this product.

Disappointed with quality of webbing, buckles and pull cord. Should be beefier. They won’t hold up to damaging sun and weather.

A little tight fit for my 20' Pygmy tandem kayak, but it does work. I like that I can take it on or off while the boat is on its trailer.

Got the Kahuna cover and the Danuu paddle bag with the carry straps. We drove from FL to KS and did the MR 340 Kansas City to St Charles MO 340 miles on the MO River. It is well made and I can put it on my Epic in about three minutes. It is perfect, and exactly what I was looking for. I have rarely been so satisfied with a product as I have been with this one.
